Frequently Asked Questions for SBI PO Thumb Impression
Why does the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) portal reject my thumb impression?
Government application portals strictly check pixel dimensions (must be 240×240 px), file size (20 KB to 50 KB), and format (.jpg/.jpeg). If any of these parameters are outside the specified range, the portal server throws an upload error.
Is it safe to upload my personal documents on GovtExamFixer?
Yes, 100%. GovtExamFixer operates entirely inside your local browser memory using HTML5 Canvas APIs. Your photo, signature, or biometric documents are never uploaded to any remote server or third party.
What if my original scan or phone photo is several megabytes (MB)?
Our iterative compression engine uses binary search compression to safely reduce files up to 12 MB down to the required 20–50 KB range while keeping text and facial features crisp and clear.
